Our Story
Our journey into the world of natural healing began in 2004, with humble steps along the trails of Padilla Bay Reserve, where we joined local classes, together with our children, in discovering the quiet wisdom of native plants. These early experiences blossomed into immersive, multi-day workshops in the Methow Valley in 2007, 2009, and 2010—guided by esteemed botany, naturalist and birding experts and within us, rooted in a deepening reverence for the flora & fauna of Washington’s wild landscapes.
In 2017, our path led us to Trillium Herbal Medicine, where we undertook a year of study and earned a Certificate in Herbalism. This chapter deepened our understanding of the healing gifts plants offer. Most recently, in 2023–2024, we studied under Dr. Tim Goyetche at the Goyetche Institute in New Brunswick, Canada, earning a Certificate in Orthomolecular Beauty—an approach that honors the body’s innate wisdom and its relationship with nature’s elements.
Since 2007, the North Cascade Mountains and their foothills have been both sanctuary and teacher. Hiking these sacred spaces awakened a profound appreciation for the natural world and its ability to support healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
From these experiences, Bluebird Natural Healing was born. It is more than a practice—it is a heartfelt offering. We are devoted to sharing nature’s healing gifts with those seeking balance, vitality, and connection. At the heart of our work is a simple, powerful belief: that nature holds the keys to our deepest healing, and that through it, we can return to wholeness.
